In 2006, after 8 years of RC drag racing using other chassis, a small group of individuals decided there were too many changes that needed to be done to make a really fast 1/10th scale drag car. Not seeing chassis technology keep up with battery, motor and ESC power, a long-time hobby was turned into Urban Assault Racing. Initially starting with scratch-built chassis and then, in 2008, we introduced a unique driveline drag chassis with durability and ease of setup in mind. This was the first modular style drag chassis, having one rear section to fit four different wheelbase chassis. These rear pods have been integrated into almost every class of RC drag racing.
Over the years, Urban Assault Racing has developed new innovations still being used in today’s drag racing scene. We have been in the background, providing machining services, designing and providing production runs for other RC innovators and continuing to offer these option for anyone interested in the sport.
As of December 2024, Urban Assault Racing will be expanding into other RC types so we can better serve the RC community and continue to be a part of the RC industry for many years to come.
